PS. I love you

I loved this movie. It's been a long time since I have gone to a movie that I absolutely loved! It's a movie about loved lost and a soul found. That's the simple version.

Basically it states that life can become so busy and hectic and that we can forget where we once had planned to go and we feel stuck in a life that wasn't anything that we ever imagined for ourselves. I bet this is a common theme amongst most people. I know it has been that way for me many times in my life. Well anyway, I felt that this movie beautifully expressed how much life can come up and slap you back to reality and that sometimes when we struggle to regain our composure we grow in immeasurable amounts. We push ourselves to limits beyond our imagination and voila, we are again the person we always knew we could be if we just tried.

Even though this movie really never talked about God or religion or spirituality, I believe that the theme of God ran right through this movie. God does that, He breaks us so that we grow stronger. He lets us hurt so we seek new found strength and like any parent, He is always there for when we call out to Him for love and comfort. But like the butterfly that needs to break through the cocoon on it's own in order to strengthen it's wings so that it can fly and survive - we too need to struggle and push ourselves to become the beautiful creature that God has called us to be.
